feel like i’m in a literal circle of hell having a conversation where i describe my exact tech problem, and the other person says “we never X except when we X but i don’t understand your problem despite LITERALLY DESCRIBING THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES” and every time i try to be like “you said you X” and “YES I DESCRIBED THAT NOT ANYTHING ELSE” they are like “i couldn’t be more clear” like any of that addresses the problem i raised and asked for help with! or excuses how dumb and counterintuitive doing X when X is.

imagine if you could never keep all your old photos you imported to your computer because when you synced your phone your computer went “these photos aren’t on the other side! we should mirror the other side!”

[1] took literally 5 years, but a new journal for accepting the trajectory of my life isn’t what i expected or planned, and it feels good not to have the baggage

[2] tried to show my dad the first episode of derry girls after nearly hurting myself laughing just trying to tell him about it, but i don’t think he even laughed ONCE?! and said he thought it was stupid?! for someone who likes as much dumb comedy as he does, that seems like a big claim.

[3] no one believes my cats are seniors, but i can’t get them to stop developing UTIs which apparently is an older cat thing, and so very frustrating.

[4] i am really looking forward to mid-may. i hope spring isn’t slow to warm up this year.

[5] making a list of media for convalescence. so far: succession, severance, new season of all creatures great and small, hopefully new seasons of both sister boniface mysteries and shakespeare & hathaway, new season of death in paradise, rez dogs,

[6] while i am thrilled to have any murdoch back on netflix, i’m kind of annoyed it’s specifically seasons 10-15. season 7 is my favourite, and we’re currently in s18 so without s16 and s17 this doesn’t even help me get caught up to the current season
